The French Short Film Festival is being held since 1999, and this is the 21st.
The festival is a great success, not only at the level of France, but also at the level of the many countries that it has participated in and participated in for 20 years.

Egypt joins the list, with the participation of the French Institute in Alexandria.
The festival is organized in Egypt by Reem Lotfy Saad, the official representative of the festival in the Arab Republic of Egypt

The festival is held in Egypt since 2015


The first session was organized by Animation 8: Ismail Elnazer

The opening ceremony and performances take place at the Greek Campus in Cairo and a number of projection halls including Zawya Cinema
The artist Fahey Abdel Wahab and director Yousry Nasrallah were the guests of the opening, while the participation of the artist Basma and Professor / Laila Fakhry, head of animation department at the Higher Institute of Cinema as well as the director of animation / Ahmed Fawzi
Attendance exceeded 500 person, during only three days (duration of the festival in Egypt).

Versions from 2016 to 2018 are organized by Brainstorm Engineer: Hussam Al Bustani

The 2016 session was held in the cinema of Hanager as well as several halls, including the DAL and the Contemporary Image Center
